There cannot be a more suitable way to mark where you left off in your current horror story than with this letterpress bookmark.
The quote from Frankenstein* reads, "I have love in me the likes of which you scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other," and appears between bolts of lightning and a bust of Frankenstein's monster.
Each part of this work was set by hand with metal type and ornaments, and then printed on an antique printing press from 1893.
Printed on black cardstock from French Paper (a family run mill that uses hydropower!) with white and gold ink. Measures 2 1/2" x 7".
Due to the nature of letterpress printing, each bookmark is unique. Subtle differences to the product pictured can be expected, but also add to the charm.
*Since creating this bookmark, I have learned that this quote is actually from the 1994 movie adaptation, and was inspired by the actual book quote, "If I cannot inspire love, I will cause fear."
